Personal Touch Gourmet Cooking Class Policies

Class Fee: The class fee is determined by the number of students and ingredient costs. Classes run approximately 3 hours. Cooking class registration must be received with payment in full within 7 days of scheduled date to reserve the date.

Class cancellation policy: Should you need to cancel a reservation for a class you will receive a full refund if cancelled up to (7) days before class date. No credit or refund will be given for a class cancelled less than (7) days prior to a class date. If you are unable to attend you may choose to send someone in your place.

Recipes: Class participants will receive a packet of printed recipes for the dishes to be prepared. Participants will enjoy full servings of the food prepared during the class. Personal Touch Gourmet reserves the right to substitute menu items when ingredients are not available.

Menus and Skill Level: Chef Mary Ellen will work with the participants to tailor the menu to individual tastes. All cooking skill levels are welcome and class attendees will receive one-on-one time with the chef.

What to Bring and Wear: Feel free to bring beverages of your choice. Suggested wine pairings can be made when the class menu is set. For your safety, wear closed toed shoes, no sandals, and comfortable clothing that will not get caught on kitchen equipment.
Legal Notice: Participation in a cooking class may involve the student’s use of cooking equipment and tools in a busy kitchen environment. It is understood and expressly agreed to by the student that by making payment for and/or by participating in the class the student releases, indemnifies and hold harmless Personal Touch Gourmet from any and all liability of any kind for any damages and/ or injuries incurred in connection with the students attendance at a cooking class, and understands and accepts the risks inherent in the preparation and cooking of food with other people in the kitchen.
